NEW PATIENTS

Expectant Parents and Newborns

Dr. Eisner offers a complimentary consult for expectant parents. This provides an opportunity for new parents to meet Dr. Eisner and her staff, and for Dr. Eisner to help prepare parents for their new arrival. Our office suggests that you download and complete the brief, one-page information sheet for expectant parents in advance of your visit.

Dr. Eisner currently sees newborns at Greater Heights, and has arrangements for pediatricians with expertise in the care of newborns to see her newborns at many Houston area hospitals, including the Texas Children’s Hospital-Pavilion for Women, Woman’s Hospital of Texas, Methodist Hospitals, and Memorial Hermann Hospitals. Our office recommends that you call our office before leaving the hospital to schedule your newborn’s first office visit within 2-3 days after discharge from the nursery. Sometimes, jaundice or other problems appear after infants leave the nursery, and it is important to detect and take care of these problems early. Please bring all records provided by the hospital nursery to your first visit.

First Visit

Our office suggests that you download and complete our New Patient Forms in advance of your first visit. Also, please be sure to bring your current health insurance card, driver’s license, and your child’s immunization record, if possible. This will speed up the registration process.
